This is why I want it to run when the user logs in, so it can reboot at the end-users convenient time. The program looks for driver updates and runs them silently unless a reboot is needed, then prompts. I'm just struggling with running the program as Admin during login. I don't need the user to install this program, I can push it out multiple ways - that's not the problem. Why does the user have to install this software? Why can't the system or another account install this software? What user-specific registry keys for folder/file structions are modified?
You mean its crazy that Windows won't willy nilly let a non-administrative user have magic administrative access for a single program only at logon?
I can't believe that there's no way to run a program at startup as Admin for users.
